The State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors announces its intent to adopt three (3) amended rules pursuant to Section 119.032 of the Ohio Revised Code and in conformity with the Common Sense Business Regulation objectives defined in Executive Order 2008-04S. These rules are being filed in compliance with Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code. The Board hereby gives notice that it will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of considering the adoption of rules, as follows, on:

The proposed rules are available from the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors, 50 West Broad Street, Suite 1820, Columbus, Ohio 43215 and from the Register of Ohio website, http://www.registerof ohio.state.oh.us.

All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing. Oral or written testimony may be presented by any person affected by the proposed action, his/her attorney, or both. Those persons who wish to provide oral testimony at the hearing are encouraged to contact John Greenhalge, at (614) 466-3651 or john.greenhalge@pes.ohio.gov prior to the hearing date.

Persons interested in providing written comments in lieu of oral testimony may bring written comments to the public hearing or send written comments to the attention of John Greenhalge, Executive Director, State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors, 50 West Broad Street, Suite 1820, Columbus, Ohio 43215. All written comments received by the Board before the close of the hearing record will be considered.
